I wish I didn’t have the kind of time I have. Been out of work for near a year and half now and the economy isn’t helping so what do I do besides apply for jobs? Play WoW! LOL

I don’t have any issues with people that get to play a lot of WOW, I wish this game was around when I had that kind of time.

Part of fun sometimes is boosting one’s self-esteem. Welcome to playing with other people in an online world. You get this same stuff in real life with sports and countless other hobbies, but you don’t hear the same argument back now do you?? No, because then people pull the “real life” card. Who is anyone in this game to judge the life of another player in the game? It’s pathetic when someone calls someone out for playing too much in their opinion. It’s their life. Let he/she live their life as they please unless you’d like everyone to be able to nitpick your life as well. Sorry had to rant a bit over the whole “elitism” crap people spew.

Bottom line is even though it will help get more people geared there is still gear that will be exclusive to both the elite PVP and PVE players.

Have to agree- didnt they say they’d never do that badge trickery routine? I guess they want to accelerate players through the content, so we dont get stuck and can continue to enjoy the new instances as they arrive, even if we’re behind to begin with. Tbh, I dont really care. Its supposed to be a game for fun, and as long as more people are having fun and enjoying the content, that has to be good. Using the game to prove how awesome I am (to myself) has never been the main reason I play.

You know they also added this on the PTR.

“Any dungeons that previously dropped Emblems of Heroism or Valor, such as Naxxramas or Heroic Halls of Stone, will now drop Emblems of Conquest instead. Emblems of Conquest can still be converted to Valor or Heroism.”

It’s quite sad how they are just handing out gear now.

Isnt part of this a little trick to get the hardcore whiners to shut up? Give them the “illusion” of their own personal instance just for them? When in fact, it is exactly like the easy version, just with “go-hard-or-go-home” stripes set from a dungeon right click menu? There’s no way they’re gettting exclusive graphics, music, bosses and so on (which I believe is the only reason they’re whining)

By giving them the illusion of their own “heroic” instance, rather than the current less convincing illusion (press the red button, bro. NAHHHHH I DONT WANT TO. I WANT MY OWN INSTANCE THAT SCRUBS WILL NEVER ACCESS), and taking into account that many of them (judging by what they write on the subject) are rather stupid, they may just fall for it.

Easily.

The tough part now is if you can’t spend your whole life raiding which of the 4 do you choose to run?

I am guessing most successful guilds that are not quite leet will at least start out in 25 man Heroic and then only fall back to 25 man non Heroic if they just don’t have the time or talent.

This however will further dilute getting to talk about ones leetness since everyone will be getting to kill boss X.
