New music for September.
September is looking like a weak month for new tunes. I added a handful of songs to the July/Aug playlist on my Hot Tunes tab . You know new content is weak when I even threw in a Miley Cyrus song. At least I left out the most recent contribution from the Jonas Brothers that found itself on the mainstream club list… ugh.
Songs I added to the list…
- Never say – Armin Van Buuren – I am not a huge fan of his but this song is very polished and Jacqueline Govaert sounds pretty nice on the track.
- Funhouse – Pink – Not a huge fan of Pink either but the track has a nice No Doubt sound to it… and who can deny evil clowns burning down.
- Tipsy in Da Club – Dj Webstar – I actually found this looking for another track on playlist I couldn’t find which I am going to embed at the end… but I liked this one too.
- Written on Her – Birdman – An interesting fusion of Urban and Club… At least it’s something different sound wise to everything else I was listening too that is coming out.
- Party in the USA – Miley Cyrus – Ok, I am stretching it on this track but I honestly don’t mind her voice and the guitar rift is a little reminiscent of maybe some Sugar Ray or maybe I am thinking of the punk reggae I am used to hearing at the beach… I dunno, a little different of a track but still mainstream pop.
Lastly is a track that wasn’t on playlist.com but I wanted to add. Nice use of old 60′s music, see what you think.
